Panoramas I found - Part II

I think I prefer lengthwise panoramas because they make things look taller and larger and more interesting. This is awsome. Your eye literally walks right up the steps.

This is dark and spooky, but it almost looks sparkly and fairy-like.

I like this because it isn't about the roadway or the cars, it's about the sky. Light-Dark-Light. BITCHIN'!

Panoramas I found

I like this because it's technically a "landscape" or whatever, but there's a person in it. I want to put some people into my panoramas. In fact, I had an idea about maybe doing a panorama from a person, from the floor. Like, giant-making much?

These are my panoramas. I thought this one was pretty snazzy because it seems that it would be long and straight, but it twists and swirls. Also, the coolness of it, colorwise. Your eye follows the curve and hits.

This one is unique because it's nothing special, and nothing that probably couldn't be captured by one shot. That's what makes this so amazing. It's like, "Hey! Check out my curvy home!"

This is by a user named *Delacorr. It reminds me of the "On Your Belly" assignment. In fact, that was one of my favorite ones, and I'd love to do it again. I really like the traffic light and how curvy it is, the buildings look so tall, and the sky is such a perfect addition. Can't really describe it. Just like it.

Mind-boggling, isn't it? This is what I want to accomplish. Look at the lighting and shadows on the hand and bottle! Besides it being a killer idea, it's actually a really nicely composed photograph. The only thing that bothers me a little is that the entire bottle isn't in the picture. But....the person who took it had to use his own hand and be his own model. Which does make it a little more difficult. PROPS!

Idea?

Last night while I was lying in bed I was struck by a crazy idea for a photo piece.

I was thinking it would be fabulous to shoot about insanity, and how beautifully classic and wonderful it can be.  I saw this old shack as I was driving down some road, and I thought about how empty and dirty and broken up it is.  But what if I took people in there, into that place with no furniture or linens or pictures or life, and made life out of nothing.

Shooting somebody cooking on the stove, holding an invisible saucepan and talking to their family.  Sitting on the invisible couch as a family, watching TV.  Washing their hands in bathroom sink even though the water has been shut off...

It's a little stupid, it's a lot difficult, but I think it'd be really fun.
